TibiaME Map

What is this?

This site is an interactive, zoomable map of the TibiaME world. Every tile you see was recorded in-game, cell by cell, and rendered into the map you can pan and zoom like any modern web map. Floors (undergrounds and upper levels) are browsable, and stairs and portals are clickable: tap a marker to jump to where it leads.

How to use the map

• Pan and zoom - drag to move, use the mouse wheel, pinch, or the zoom control in the bottom-right corner.
• Floors - the selector in the top-left switches between floors (z-levels).
• Islands - when available, the island selector limits the view to one island, including its caves and upper floors.
• Stairs and portals - the small diamond markers are connections. Click one to jump to its destination; if it has several destinations, a menu opens.
• Contributors - the button in the top-right opens the list of everyone who has mapped tiles, with how much each person has covered.

How was it made?

The map is not extracted from game files. It was walked and recorded in the game world, then assembled: each visited cell is identified, its graphics are layered in the correct draw order, and the result is rendered into image tiles at several zoom levels. Unexplored areas simply do not exist on the map yet - if a spot is black, nobody has walked there with the recorder so far.

Accounts

Viewing the map requires a free account. You can request one from the sign-in page (Register tab); an admin reviews and approves new requests. Accounts exist to keep the map for the community and to prevent automated bulk-copying of years of mapping work.

Contributing

The map grows through contributions. If you want to help map unexplored areas, get in touch (contact below) - you will receive a small recorder tool, walk the areas you want to map, and send back the recording file it produces. Accepted contributions are merged into the map and counted on the Contributors list under your name. Already-mapped tiles are never overwritten by a contribution, so you cannot break anything.

Fair use

The map is meant to be used, not copied. Please do not try to mass-download tiles; automated scraping is detected and rate-limited, and accounts doing it get disabled. Sharing screenshots is fine.
